If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live peaceably with all. Beloved, do not avenge yourselves, but leave it to the wrath of God; for it is written, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay," says the Lord. Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good.

If anyone does not obey our instruction in this letter, take special note of that person and do not associate with him, so that he may be ashamed. Yet do not regard him as an enemy, but warn him as a brother.

For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility, by abolishing in his flesh the hostility, which is the Law of commandments and ordinances, so that he might create in himself one new man out of the two, thus making peace, and might reconcile them both to God in one body through the cross, by which he put to death the hostility.read more.

Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. And be thankful.

Be kind and tenderhearted to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you.

When he came to Jerusalem, he tried to join the disciples; but they were all afraid of him, not believing that he was a disciple. But Barnabas took him and brought him to the apostles. And he declared to them how he had seen the Lord on the road, and that he had spoken to him, and how he had preached boldly at Damascus in the name of Jesus. And he was with them moving about freely in Jerusalem, speaking out boldly in the name of the Lord.
