But afterward he sent to them his son, saying, 'They will reverence my son.'
He had yet one, a beloved son; he sent him to them last, saying, 'They will pay deference to my son.'
"And the lord of the vineyard said, 'What shall I do? I will send my son, the beloved; perhaps they will reverence him.'
Furthermore, we used to have the fathers of our flesh as chasteners, and we reverenced them: shall we not much rather be in subjection to the Father of our spirits, and live?
