Submitting yourselves one to another in the fear of God.
Honor all men. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.
You shall not curse the deaf, nor put a stumbling block before the blind, but shall fear your God: I am the LORD.
Servants, be obedient to them that are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ;
But the midwives feared God, and did not as the king of Egypt commanded them, but saved the male children alive.
Moreover you shall provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God, men of truth, hating covetousness; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, and rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:
And if you sell anything unto your neighbor, or buy anything of your neighbor's hand, you shall not oppress one another: According to the number of years after the jubilee you shall buy of your neighbor, and according unto the number of years of crops he shall sell unto you: According to the multitude of years you shall increase the price thereof, and according to the fewness of years you shall diminish the price of it: for according to the number of the years of crops does he sell unto you.read more.
You shall not therefore oppress one another; but you shall fear your God: for I am the LORD your God.
Charm is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that fears the LORD, she shall be praised.
Servants, obey in all things your masters according to the flesh; not with eye service, as men pleasers; but in singleness of heart, fearing God:
That the aged men be sensible, grave, temperate, sound in faith, in love, in patience. The aged women likewise, that they be in behavior as becomes holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things;
Likewise, you wives, be in subjection to your own husbands; that, if any obey not the word, they also may without the word be won by the conduct of the wives; While they behold your chaste behavior coupled with fear.
Then I consulted with myself, and I rebuked the nobles, and the rulers, and said unto them, you exact interest, every one from his brother. And I held a great assembly against them. And I said unto them, We after our ability have redeemed our brethren the Jews, who were sold unto the nations; and will you even sell your brethren? or shall they be sold unto us? Then held they their peace, and found nothing to answer. Also I said, It is not good what you do: ought you not to walk in the fear of our God because of the reproach of the nations our enemies?
