And there cometh a leper to him beseeching him, and kneeling down, saying to him, If thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith, I will; be thou cleansed. And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.read more.

But the Pharisees, seeing it, said to him, Lo! thy disciples are doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath.
And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?
And some of the Pharisees said, Why are ye doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath?
For circumcision is indeed a benefit to thee, if thou keep the Law; but if thou art a breaker of the Law, thy circumcision hath become uncircumcision.
And he said, Are ye too still without discernment? Do ye not understand, that whatever entereth the mouth goeth into the stomach, and is cast out into the drain? But the things which proceed from the mouth come out of the heart; and these defile a man.read more.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimony, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man; but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man.

For the Law but shadowing forth the good things to come, and not having the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually make those who come with them perfect.
