And when the days of their purification according to the law of Moses were completed, they brought him to Jerusalem to present him to the Lord, as it is written in the law of the Lord: "Every firstborn male shall be called holy to the Lord," and to offer a sacrifice, according to what is directed in the law of the Lord: "A pair of turtle doves, or two young pigeons."

And there cometh a leper to him beseeching him, and kneeling down, saying to him, If thou wilt, thou canst cleanse me. And Jesus, moved with compassion, put forth his hand, and touched him, and saith, I will; be thou cleansed. And immediately the leprosy left him, and he was cleansed.read more.
And sternly charging him, he immediately sent him away, saying to him, See that thou say nothing to any one; but go, show thyself to the priest, and offer for thy cleansing what Moses commanded, for a testimony to them.

but that we should write to them by letter to abstain from pollutions of idols, and from fornication, and from that which hath been strangled, and from blood.

But the Pharisees, seeing it, said to him, Lo! thy disciples are doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath.

And the Pharisees said to him, See, why are they doing on the sabbath that which is not lawful?

And some of the Pharisees said, Why are ye doing that which it is not lawful to do on the sabbath?

For circumcision is indeed a benefit to thee, if thou keep the Law; but if thou art a breaker of the Law, thy circumcision hath become uncircumcision.

And he said, Are ye too still without discernment? Do ye not understand, that whatever entereth the mouth goeth into the stomach, and is cast out into the drain? But the things which proceed from the mouth come out of the heart; and these defile a man.read more.
For out of the heart proceed evil thoughts, murders, adulteries, fornications, thefts, false testimony, blasphemies. These are the things which defile a man; but to eat with unwashed hands defileth not a man.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but the keeping of the commandments of God.

But food will not recommend us to God; if we do not eat, we are not the worse; nor if we do eat, are we the better.

which are a shadow of the things to come, but the body is Christs.

And he said to them, The sabbath was made for man, and not man for the sabbath. So that the Son of man is lord even of the sabbath.

in whom also ye have been circumcised with a circumcision not performed by hand, in putting off the body of the flesh in the circumcision of Christ,

For the Law but shadowing forth the good things to come, and not having the very image of the things, can never with the same sacrifices which they offer year by year continually make those who come with them perfect. For in that case would they not have ceased to be offered, because the worshippers, having been once purified, would have had no more consciousness of sins? But in these sacrifices there is a remembrance of sins every year.

being only ordinances pertaining to the flesh, which in addition to meats and drinks and divers washings are imposed until the time of reformation.

For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth anything, nor uncircumcision; but faith working by love.

For neither is circumcision anything, nor uncircumcision, but a new creation.

having abolished in his flesh the law of commandments contained in ordinances; that he might create of the two one new man in himself, thus making peace,

and to you also who were dead in your trespasses and the uncircumcision of your flesh, hath he given life together with him, having forgiven us all our trespasses; blotting out the handwriting in ordinances that was against us, which was opposed to us, he hath taken it out of the way, nailing it to the cross; and having disarmed principalities and powers, he made a public show of them, and led them captive in triumph in him.read more.
