But I exhort your brethren, to mark those who are causing divisions and offences, contrary to the doctrine which ye learned; and avoid them.
O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding the profane babblings, and oppositions of the falselycalled knowledge;
But shun the profane babblings; for they will go on to a higher degree of ungodliness;
But the foolish and ignorant questionings avoid, knowing that they gender quarrels;
but avoid foolish questionings, and genealogies, and strifes, and contentions about the Law; for they are unprofitable and vain.
But flee youthful lusts, and follow righteousness, faith, love, peace, with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Flee fornication. Every other sin which a man may commit, is apart from the body; but he that committeth fornication, sinneth against his own body.
But do thou, O man of God, flee these things; and follow after righteousness, godliness, faith, love, patience, meekness.
Nevertheless Gods firm foundation standeth, having this seal, "The Lord knoweth them that are his;" and, "Let every one that nameth the name of the Lord depart from iniquity."
