In like manner also as it was in the days of Lot; they eat, drank, bought, sold, planted, built; but on the day that Lot went out of Sodom it rained fire and sulphur from heaven, and destroyed all; so shall it be in the day when the Son of man is revealed.

Watch, therefore, for you know not on what day your Lord comes, But know this, that if the householder had known in what watch the thief comes, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken into. Therefore be you also ready, for in such an hour as you think not the Son of man comes.
