Evil people and impostors will become worse, deceiving and being deceived.

Many deceivers have gone out into the world; they do not confess the coming of Jesus Christ in the flesh. This is the deceiver and the antichrist. I have written these things to you about those who are trying to deceive you.

Then they burned all the cities where the Midianites lived, as well as all their encampments, and took away all the spoils of war and the captives, both man and beast.
