Wo unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites; who are like whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful without, but within are full of the bones of the dead, and all manner of filthiness;

And when the sabbath was past Mary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, bought spices in order to come and embalm Him: and very early in the morning of the first day of the week they come to the sepulchre at sun-rising.

But Pilate said to them, Ye have a guard of your own, go and make it as secure as ye will.

Now while they were going, behold some of the guard came into the city, and told the chief priests all that had happened: and they assembled with the elders, and taking counsel together gave the soldiers a large sum of money, saying, Do you say, that his disciples came by night, and stole Him away, while we were asleep.read more.
