and Joseph took the body and wrapped it in a clean linen cloth, and laid it in his own new tomb, which he had had cut out in the rock; and when he had rolled a great stone to the door of the sepulchre, he went away:

And he bought fine linen, and took Him down, and wrapped Him in the linen, and laid Him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock; and rolled a stone to the door of the sepulchre.

Jesus therefore, again groaning in himself, cometh to the sepulchre: which was a cave, and a stone lay upon it.

order therefore the sepulchre to be secured till the third day, least his disciples should come and steal Him away, and tell the people, He is risen from the dead: and so the last error will be worse than the first. But Pilate said to them, Ye have a guard of your own, go and make it as secure as ye will. So they went and made the sepulchre safe, sealing the stone, and setting a guard to watch it.

and behold, there had been a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descending from heaven, had come and rolled away the stone from the door, and was sitting upon it:

And they said to one another, Who will roll away the stone for us from the door of the sepulchre?

so they went in,

Now there was a garden in the place where He was crucified; and in the garden a new sepulchre, in which none had ever yet been laid.

Wo unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites; who are like whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful without, but within are full of the bones of the dead, and all manner of filthiness; so do ye likewise outwardly appear to men to be righteous, but within are full of hypocrisy and iniquity.

Wo unto you pharisees; for ye love the chief seat in synagogues, and salutations in public places. Wo unto you scribes and pharisees, hypocrites; for ye are like graves that do not appear, and those that walk over them are not aware of them.
