Which indeed is the least of all seeds, but when it is grown, it is the greatest of herbs, and becometh a tree, so that the birds of the air come and lodge in the branches of it.

But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world, to shame the wise, and the weak things of the world, to shame the things that are mighty: And the base things of the world, and things that are despised, hath God chosen; yea, things that are not, to bring to nought the things that are; That no flesh may glory before him. But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who is made by God unto us wisdom,

But in a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver, but also of wood and of stone; and some to honour, some to dishonour. If a man therefore purge himself from these, he shall be a vessel unto honour, consecrated and fit for the master's use, prepared for every good work. Flee also youthful desires; but follow after righteousness, faith, love, peace with them that call upon the Lord, out of a pure heart.
