See that ye despise not one of these little ones; for I say to you, that in heaven their angels continually behold the face of my Father who is in heaven.

And shall see his face, and his name shall be on their foreheads.

And having removed him, he raised up to them David for their king, to whom also bearing witness he said, I have found David, the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, who will do all my will.

Being therefore exalted by the right-hand of God, and having received from the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens; but he saith himself, The Lord said to my Lord,

Who being gone into heaven, is on the right-hand of God, angels, and authorities, and powers being subjected to him.

Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.

For the eyes of the Lord are over the righteous, and his ears are open to their prayers, but the face of the Lord is against them that do evil.

He hath wrought strength with his arm; he hath scattered the proud in the imagination of their hearts.

So that the word of the prophet Isaiah was fulfilled which he said, Lord, who hath believed our report? And to whom hath the arm of the Lord been revealed?

For who hath known the mind of the Lord? Or who hath been his counsellor?

but this with an oath, by him that said unto him, The Lord sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever, after the order of Melchisedek:)

And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? Now ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.

And lo a voice out of the heavens, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I delight.

And a voice came from heaven, Thou art my beloved Son, in whom I delight.

and praying, the heaven was opened, And the Holy Ghost descended in a bodily form, like a dove, upon him, and a voice came from heaven, saying, Thou art my beloved Son; in thee I delight.

And God spake thus: That his seed should sojourn in a strange land, (and they will inslave them and treat them evil) four hundred years.
