And when the LORD smelled the pleasing aroma, the LORD said in his heart, "I will never again curse the ground because of man, for the intention of man's heart is evil from his youth. Neither will I ever again strike down every living creature as I have done.

But if that servant says to himself, 'My master is delayed in coming,' and begins to beat the male and female servants, and to eat and drink and get drunk,
"But when he came to himself, he said, 'How many of my father's hired servants have more than enough bread, but I perish here with hunger!
And the manager said to himself, 'What shall I do, since my master is taking the management away from me? I am not strong enough to dig, and I am ashamed to beg.
But if there is no one to interpret, let each of them keep silent in church and speak to himself and to God.
The fool says in his heart, "There is no God." They are corrupt, they do abominable deeds, there is none who does good.
So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?"
