Happy are the peace-makers; for they shall be called the children of God.

But love ye your enemies, and do good and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be sons of the Highest; for he is kind to the unthankful and the evil.

And Jesus answering said to them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage. But they who are accounted worthy to obtaan that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage. For neither can they die any more; for they are equal to angels, and are the children of God, being the children of the resurrection.

But as many as received him, to them gave he privilege to become the sons of God, to them that believe in his name: Who were born, not of blood, nor by the will of the flesh, nor by the will of man, but of God.

Not as if the word of God had fallen to the ground; for all are not Israel, who are of Israel. Neither because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children, but in Isaac shall thy seed be called: That is, not the children of the flesh are the children of God, but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Be not unequally yoked with unbelievers; for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? or what communion hath light with darkness? And what concord hath Christ with Belial? or what part hath a believer with an infidel? And what agreement hath the temple of God with idols? Now ye are the temple of the living God, as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them, and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people.read more.
Therefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, and touch not the unclean person, saith the Lord, and I will receive you, And will be to you a Father, and ye shall be to me sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

And now, beloved children, abide in him, that when he shall appear, we may have confidence, and not be ashamed before him at his coming. If ye know, that he is righteous, ye know that every one who doth righteousness is born of him.

Behold what manner of love the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called the Sons of God; therefore the world knoweth us not, because it knew him not. Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know, when he shall appear, we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. And every one that hath this hope in him, purifieth himself even as he is pure.

Whosoever is born of God doth not commit sin; for his seed abideth in him, and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. Hereby the children of God are manifest and the children of the devil: whosoever practiseth not righteousness is not of God; neither he that loveth not his brother.

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God; and every one who loveth him that begat, loveth him also that is begotten of him. Hereby we know that we love the children of God, when we love God, and keep his commandments.

He that overcometh shall inherit these things; and I will be to him a God, and he shall be to me a son.
