For this cause from the day we heard it, we do not cease to pray also for you, and to desire that ye may be filled with the knowledge of his will, in all wisdom and spiritual understanding;

And this is life eternal, to know thee, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.

Indeed then, when ye knew not God, ye served them that by nature are not gods. But now having known God, or rather being known of God, how turn ye back to the weak and beggarly elements, to which ye desire to be in bondage again?

That the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give you the Spirit of wisdom and revelation, through the knowledge of him.

that ye may be filled with all the fulness of God.

And he told him, Thy brother is come, and thy father hath killed the fatted calf, because he hath received him in good health. But he was angry, and would not go in: therefore his father coming out intreated him. And he answering said to his father, Lo these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed I thy commandment at any time, yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends. But as soon as this thy son was come, who hath devoured thy substance with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf. And he said to him, Son, thou art always with me, and all that I have is thine. But it was meet to make merry and be glad, for this thy brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.

He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me, shall be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

Grace be unto you, and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Husbands, love your wives, as Christ also loved the church and gave himself for it;

Let us be glad and rejoice and give the glory to him; for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.

I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd layeth down his life for the sheep.

Who knowing the righteous judgment of God, that they who do such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in those that do them.

To the clean all things are clean; but to the defiled and unbelieving nothing is clean; but both their understanding and conscience are defiled. They profess to know God, but by their works they deny him, being abominable and disobedient, and void of judgment as to every good work.

For I bear them record, that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge. For they being ignorant of the righteousness of God, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God.

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name, and in thy name have cast out devils, and in thy name have done many wonderful works? And then will I declare to them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who detain the truth in unrighteousness. For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them.

But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up to thyself wrath in the day of wrath, and revelation, and righteous judgment of God?

In flaming fire, taking vengeance on them who know not God, and who obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.
