But the hour comes, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for the Father seeks such to worship him. God is a Spirit, and those that worship him must worship in spirit and truth.
We are the circumcision, who serve God in spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and trust not in the flesh,
And Zachariah his father was filled with the Holy Spirit, and prophesied, saying, Blessed is the Lord, the God of Israel, because he has visited and redeemed his people,

But if all prophesy, and there comes in an unbeliever or an unlearned man, he is convinced by all, he is examined by all, and the secrets of his heart are made manifest, and so falling down on his face he worships God, declaring that God is really among you.
And when I began to speak the Holy Spirit fell on them as also on us in the beginning. And I remembered the word of the Lord how he said, John indeed baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit. If therefore God gave the gift equally to them and to us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ, who was I that I should be able to forbid God?read more.
And hearing these things they were silent, and glorified God, saying, Then to the gentiles also has God indeed given the change of mind to life.
But we ought to thank God always for you, brothers beloved by the Lord, because God from the beginning chose you to salvation by purification of spirit, and belief of the truth,
And be not drunk with wine, in which is excess, but be filled with the spirit, speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ to the God and Father,
While Peter was yet speaking these words the Holy Spirit fell on all who heard the word. And those of the circumcision who came with Peter were astonished, that on the gentiles also the gift of the Holy Spirit was poured out; for they heard them speaking with tongues and magnifying God. Then Peter answered,
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching with all wisdom, and admonishing one another, with psalms, hymns, spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to God, and whatever you do in word or in work, do all in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to the God [and] Father through him.
