21 Bible Verses about The Lord Will Drive Them Out

Keep all that I command thee this day, and behold: I will cast out before thee the Amorites, Canaanites, Hittites, Perizzites, Hivites and Jebusites.

and that the LORD may cast out all thine enemies before thee as he hath said.

When the LORD thy God hath brought thee into the land whither thou goest to possess it, and hath cast out many nations before thee: the Hittites, the Girgashites, the Amorites, the Canaanites, the Perezites, the Hivites and the Jebusites; seven nations more in number and mightier than thou:

Therefore shalt thou know this day, that the LORD thy God goeth over before thee, a consuming fire. He shall destroy them and shall subdue them before thee. And thou shalt cast them out, and bring them to nought quickly, as the LORD hath said unto thee. Speak not in thine heart, after that the LORD thy God hath cast them out before thee, saying, 'For my righteousness the LORD hath brought me in to possess this land.' Nay, but for the wickedness of these nations the LORD doth cast them out before thee. It is not for thy righteousness' sake and right heart that thou goest to possess their land: But partly for the wickedness of these nations, the LORD thy God doth cast them out before thee, and partly to perform that which the LORD thy God sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

then will the LORD cast out all these nations; and ye shall conquer them which are both greater and mightier than yourselves.

And I will send an angel before thee, and will cast out the Canaanites, the Amorites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites:

for I will cast out the nations before thee and will enlarge thy coasts, so that no man shall desire thy land, while thou goest up to appear before the face of the LORD thy God, thrice in the year.

all the inhabiters of the hill country, from Lebanon unto the hot waters even all the Sidonians. I will cast them out from before the children of Israel, and see that thou in any wise divide it by lot unto the children of Israel to inherit, as I have commanded thee.

Like as the smoke vanisheth, so shalt thou drive them away; and like as wax melteth at the fire, so shall the ungodly perish at the presence of God.

The LORD thy God will put out these nations before thee a little and a little: thou mayest not consume them at once, lest the beasts of the field increase upon thee.

It is not for thy righteousness' sake and right heart that thou goest to possess their land: But partly for the wickedness of these nations, the LORD thy God doth cast them out before thee, and partly to perform that which the LORD thy God sware unto thy fathers, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

For all that do such things are abomination unto the LORD: and because of these abominations the LORD thy God doth cast them out before thee.

to thrust out nations greater and mightier than thou before thee, to bring thee in, and to give thee their land to inheritance: as it is come to pass this day.

So shall the LORD cast out before you great nations and mighty, as ye see how no man hath stand before you hitherto.

and will go all of you in harness over Jordan before the LORD, until he have cast out his enemies before him,

I will not cast them out in one year, lest the land grow to a wilderness: and the beasts of the field multiply upon thee.

But a little and a little I will drive them out before thee, until thou be increased that thou mayest inherit the land.
