These are the kindreds of the sons of Noah, in their generations and nations. And of these came the people that were in the world after the flood.

Now therefore if ye will hear my voice and keep mine covenant: ye shall be mine own above all nations, for all the earth is mine. Ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests and a holy people.' These are the words which thou shalt say unto the children of Israel."
Then the LORD said unto Abram, "Get thee out of thy country and from thy kindred; and out of thy father's house, into a land which I will show thee. And I will make of thee a mighty people, and will bless thee, and make thy name great, that thou mayst be a blessing. And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse them that curse thee. And in thee shall be blessed all the generations of the earth."
Now therefore, if I have found favour in thy sight, then show me thy way and let me know thee: that I may find grace in thy sight. And look on this also, how that this nation is thy people."
For thou art a holy nation unto the LORD thy God: the LORD thy God hath chosen thee to be a several people unto himself of all nations that are upon the earth. It was not because of the multitude of you, above all nations, that the LORD had lust unto you and chose you: For ye were fewest of all nations. But because the LORD loved you, and because he would keep the oath which he had sworn unto your fathers, therefore he brought you out of Egypt with a mighty hand and delivered you out of the house of bondage; even from the hand of Pharaoh king of Egypt.
For thou art a holy people unto the LORD thy God, and the LORD hath chosen thee to be a several people unto himself, of all the nations that are upon the earth.
And what one people in the earth is like thy people Israel? Which God went and delivered to be his people, and to make him a name, and to show them great and terrible things in the earth, before thy people which thou redeemest to thee out of Egypt, even from the people and from their gods.
Moreover, what nation on the earth is like thy people Israel, which God went and redeemed to be his own people, and to make thee a name of excellency and terribleness, with casting out nations from before thy people forever?
Blessed are the people whose God is the LORD Jehovah; and blessed are the folk whom he hath chosen to be his inheritance.
Which are the Israelites, to whom pertaineth the adoption, and the glory, and the covenants and the law that was given and the service of God, and the promises, whose also are the fathers, and they of whom; as concerning the flesh; Christ came: which is God over all things, blessed forever. Amen.
And he said, "Behold, I make an covenant before all this people; that I will do marvels such as have not been done in all the world, neither among any nation. And all the people, among which thou art, shall see the work of the LORD: for it is a terrible thing that I will do with thee.
Keep them therefore and do them, for that is your wisdom and understanding in the sight of the nations: which, when they have heard all these ordinances, shall say, 'O what a wise and understanding people is this great nation.'
But Ruth said, "Entreat me not to leave thee, and to return from after thee. For whither thou goest, I will go. And where thou dwellest, there I will dwell. Thy people are my people, and thy God is my God. Where thou diest, I will die, and there will be buried. The LORD do so and so to me, except that death only depart thee and me asunder."
And I will put a division between my people and thine. And even tomorrow shall this miracle be done.'"
for I will cast out the nations before thee and will enlarge thy coasts, so that no man shall desire thy land, while thou goest up to appear before the face of the LORD thy God, thrice in the year.
And thou shalt answer and say before the LORD thy God, 'The Syrians would have destroyed my father, and he went down into Egypt and sojourned there with a few folk and grew there unto a nation great, mighty and full of people.
For I shall send him among those hypocritical people, among the people that have deserved my disfavour shall I send him: that he may utterly rob them, spoil them, and tread them down like the mire in the street.
Alas for this sinful nation, which are expert in blasphemies; a seed of ungracious people, corrupt in their ways. They have forsaken the LORD; they have provoked the holy one of Israel unto anger, and are gone backward.

And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched, unto the children of Israel, saying, "The land which we have gone through, to search it out, is a land that eateth up the inhabiters thereof, and the people that we saw in it are men of stature.
And now behold, I go unto my people: come let me show thee, what this people shall do to thy folk in the latter days."
And he said unto Jehoshaphat, "Wilt thou go with me to battle, to Ramoth in Gilead?" And Jehoshaphat said unto the king of Israel, "I will be as thou art, and my people shall be as thine, and my horses as thine."
Righteousness setteth up the people; but wickedness bringeth folk to destruction.
But the LORD will be merciful unto Jacob, and will take up Israel again, and set them in their own land. Strangers shall cleave unto them, and get them to the house of Jacob. The people shall take them, and carry them home to their own land. And the house of Israel shall have them in possession for servants and maidens in the land of the LORD. They shall take those prisoners, whose captives they had been afore: and rule those that had oppressed them.
Arise, and get you up against yonder rich and careless people, sayeth the LORD, which have neither gates nor door bars, and that dwell not together.
Yea, even thus sayeth the LORD God: In the fire of my jealousy have I taken a device against the residue of the Gentiles, and against all Edom: which have taken in my land unto themselves for a possession: which also rejoiced from their whole heart with a despiteful stomach, to waste it, and to spoil it.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, and a peculiar people, that ye should show the virtues of him that called you out of darkness into his marvelous light, which in time past were not a people, yet are now the people of God, which were not under mercy: but now have obtained mercy.
Now, therefore, ye are no more strangers and foreigners: but citizens with the saints, and of the household of God,
I say therefore unto you, That many shall come from the east and west, and shall rest with Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven;
Go therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the father and the son and the holy ghost;
When they heard this, they held their peace and glorified God, saying, "Then hath God also to the Gentiles granted repentance unto life."
and they sung a new song saying, "Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof, for thou wast killed, and hast redeemed us by thy blood, out of all kindreds, and tongues, and people, and nations,
After this I beheld, and lo a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and people, and tongues, stood before the seat, and before the lamb, clothed with long white garments, and palms in their hands,
And I saw an angel fly in the midst of heaven having an everlasting gospel, to preach unto them that sit and dwell on the earth, and to all nations, kindreds, and tongues, and people,
For ye are all the sons of God, by the faith which is in Christ Jesus. For all ye that are baptised, have put on Christ. Now is there no Jew, neither gentile, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither man nor woman: but ye are all one thing in Christ Jesus.read more.
If ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs by promise.
I speak not these things as though the words of God had taken none effect. For they are not all Israelites which came of Israel; Neither are they all children straightway because they are the seed of Abraham: But in Isaac shall thy seed be called, that is to say; They which are the children of the flesh, are not the children of God. But the children of promise are counted the seed.
Wherefore, remember that ye, being in time past gentiles in the flesh, and were called "uncircumcision" to them which are called "circumcision" in the flesh - which circumcision is made by hands - remember, I say, that ye were at that time without Christ, and were reputed aliens from the commonwealth of Israel, and were strangers from the testaments of promise, and had no hope, and were without God in this world. But now in Christ Jesus, ye which a while ago were far off, are made nigh by the blood of Christ.
