Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old things have passed away. Behold, all things have become new.
and put on the new man, who in the likeness of God has been created in righteousness and holiness of truth.
Put on therefore, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, a heart of compassion, kindness, lowliness, humility, and perseverance; bearing with one another, and forgiving each other, if any man has a complaint against any; even as Christ forgave you, so you also do. Above all these things, walk in love, which is the bond of perfection.
knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin.
and have put on the new man, who is being renewed in knowledge after the image of his Creator,
But put on the Lord Jesus Christ, and make no provision for the flesh, for its lusts.
But we all, with unveiled face beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are transformed into the same image from glory to glory, even as from the Lord, the Spirit.

Remain in me, and I in you. As the branch can't bear fruit by itself, unless it remains in the vine, so neither can you, unless you remain in me. I am the vine. You are the branches. He who remains in me, and I in him, the same bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing. If a man doesn't remain in me, he is thrown out as a branch, and is withered; and they gather them, throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you remain in me, and my words remain in you, you will ask whatever you desire, and it will be done for you. "In this is my Father glorified, that you bear much fruit; and so you will be my disciples.
For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world: your faith.
Therefore we don't faint, but though our outward man is decaying, yet our inward man is renewed day by day.
For he is our peace, who made both one, and broke down the middle wall of partition, having abolished in the flesh the hostility, the law of commandments contained in ordinances, that he might create in himself one new man of the two, making peace; and might reconcile them both in one body to God through the cross, having killed the hostility thereby.
Whoever is born of God doesn't commit sin, because his seed remains in him; and he can't sin, because he is born of God.
I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them a heart of flesh;
that he would grant you, according to the riches of his glory, that you may be strengthened with power through his Spirit in the inward man;
strengthened with all power, according to the might of his glory, for all endurance and perseverance with joy;
That which is born of the flesh is flesh. That which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
