Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.

as children of obedience, not conforming yourselves according to your former lusts as in your ignorance,

"You shall not follow a crowd to do evil; neither shall you testify in court to side with a multitude to pervert justice;

You shall not walk in the customs of the nation, which I am casting out before you: for they did all these things, and therefore I abhorred them.

When you are come into the land which Yahweh your God gives you, you shall not learn to do after the abominations of those nations.

as knowing this, that law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and insubordinate, for the ungodly and sinners, for the unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, for the sexually immoral, for homosexuals, for slave-traders, for liars, for perjurers, and for any other thing contrary to the sound doctrine; according to the Good News of the glory of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

For we have spent enough of our past time doing the desire of the Gentiles, and having walked in lewdness, lusts, drunken binges, orgies, carousings, and abominable idolatries.

knowing this, that our old man was crucified with him, that the body of sin might be done away with, so that we would no longer be in bondage to sin. For he who has died has been freed from sin. But if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him; knowing that Christ, being raised from the dead, dies no more. Death no more has dominion over him! For the death that he died, he died to sin one time; but the life that he lives, he lives to God.

always carrying in the body the putting to death of the Lord Jesus, that the life of Jesus may also be revealed in our body.

If Christ is in you, the body is dead because of sin, but the spirit is alive because of righteousness. But if the Spirit of him who raised up Jesus from the dead dwells in you, he who raised up Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit who dwells in you.

If then you were raised together with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated on the right hand of God.
