For as the body is one, and has many members, and all the members of the body, being many, are one body; so also is Christ.
For even as we have many members in one body, and all the members don't have the same function, so we, who are many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another. Even so husbands also ought to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones.
And let the peace of God rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body; and be thankful.
