And he said to them, Wheresoever ye enter into an house, there abide till ye depart from that place.

And as they went through the cities, they gave them the decrees, which were determined by the apostles and elders that were at Jerusalem to keep.

Saying, There was in a certain city a judge who feared not God nor reverenced man. And there was a widow in that city, and she came to him, saying, Do me justice on mine adversary.

And all went to be inrolled, every one to his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,

he taught them in their synagogue, so that they were astonished and said, Whence hath HE this wisdom and these mighty works?

And he came down to Capernaum, a city of Galilee, and taught them on the sabbath days.

And afterward he went through every city and village preaching and publishing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God; and the twelve were with him.

Wherefore behold I send to you prophets, and wise-men, and scribes; and some of them ye will kill and crucify, and some of them ye will scourge in your synagogues, and persecute from city to city:

And into whatsoever city or town ye shall enter, inquire who in it is worthy, and there abide till ye go thence.
