And there came a traveler unto the rich man, and he refused to take of his own flock and of his own herd, to prepare for the wayfaring man that was come unto him; but took the poor man's lamb, and prepared it for the man that was come to him.
O the hope of Israel, its savior in time of trouble, why should you be as a stranger in the land, and as a wayfaring man that turns aside to tarry for a night?
Distributing to the necessity of saints; given to hospitality.
A bishop then must be blameless, the husband of one wife, vigilant, sober, of good behavior, given to hospitality, apt to teach;
Well reported of for good works; if she has brought up children, if she has lodged strangers, if she has washed the saints' feet, if she has relieved the afflicted, if she has diligently followed every good work.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers: for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Let a little water, I pray you, be fetched, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree:

Speak, you that ride on white donkeys, you that sit in judgment, and walk by the way.
The highways lie waste, the wayfaring man ceases: he has broken the covenant, he has despised the cities, he regards no man.
