And they came to the place which God had told him of. And Abraham built an altar there and laid the wood in order. And he bound his son Isaac and laid him on the altar, on the wood.

And he turned from them, and wept. And he returned to them again and talked with them, and took Simeon from them and bound him before their eyes.

And the men of Judah said, Why have you come up against us? And they answered, We have come up to bind Samson, to do to him as he has done to us.

And they said to him, We have come to bind you so that we may deliver you into the hands of the Philistines. And Samson said to them, Swear to me that you will not fall upon me yourselves.

And Delilah said to Samson, Please tell me where your great strength lies, and with what you may be bound to afflict you.

And Delilah said to Samson, Behold, you have mocked me and told me lies. Now, please, tell me with what you may be bound.

And Delilah said to Samson, You have mocked me until now, and told me lies. Tell me with what you may be bound. And he said to her, If you weave the seven locks of my head with the web.

And they spoke to him, saying, No, but we will tie you up and deliver you into their hand. But surely we will not kill you. And they bound him with two new cords and brought him up from the rock.

And he said to her, If they bind me fast with new ropes that have never been used, then I shall be weak and be as another man. And Delilah took new ropes and bound him with them, and said to him, The Philistines are upon you, Samson! And the ambush was sitting for her in the inner room. And he broke them from off his arms like a thread.

And Samson said to her, If they bind me with seven green cords that were never dried, then I shall be weak and be as another man.

Then the lords of the Philistines brought up to her seven green cords which had not been dried, and she bound him with them.

But you, O son of man, behold, they shall put bands on you and shall bind you with them, and you shall not go out among them.

And, behold, I will lay bands on you, and you shall not turn yourself from one side to another until you have ended the days of your siege.

And he commanded mighty men in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, and to throw them into the burning fiery furnace.
