'Apprehension' in the Bible

and to love Him with all the heart and with all the understanding and with all the strength, and to [unselfishly] love one’s neighbor as oneself, is much more than all burnt offerings and sacrifices.”

People will faint from fear and apprehension because of the things that are to come on the inhabited world, because the powers of heaven will be shaken.

Concerning Him we have much to say, and much that it would be difficult to make clear to you, since you have become so dull of apprehension.
