You shall not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the sons of your people; but you shall love your neighbor as yourself. I am Jehovah.

This is My commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. No one has greater love than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.

These things I command you, that you love one another.

For one will with difficulty die for a righteous one, yet perhaps one would even dare to die for a good one.

Let love be without hypocrisy, shrinking from evil, cleaving to good; in brotherly love to one another, loving fervently, having led one another in honor.

Rejoice with rejoicing ones, and weep with weeping ones; minding the same thing toward one another, not minding high things, but yielding to the lowly. Do not be wise within yourselves.

Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves another has fulfilled the Law. For: "Do not commit adultery; do not murder; do not steal; do not bear false witness; do not lust;" and if there is any other commandment, it is summed up in this word, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself." Love works no ill to its neighbor, therefore love is the fulfilling of the Law.

So then let us pursue the things of peace, and the things for building up one another.

It is good neither to eat flesh, nor to drink wine, nor anything by which your brother stumbles, or is offended, or is made weak.

Then we who are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak, and not to please ourselves. Let every one of us please his neighbor for his good, to building up.

And may the God of patience and consolation grant you to be like minded toward one another according to Christ Jesus,

Therefore, if food offends my brother, I will eat no flesh forever, that I do not offend my brother.

Let no one seek his own, but each one another's.

Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I have become as sounding brass or a tinkling cymbal. Charity has patience, is kind; charity is not envious, is not vain, is not puffed up; does not behave indecently, does not seek her own, is not easily provoked, thinks no evil. Charity does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth, quietly covers all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Charity never fails. But if there are prophecies, they will be abolished; if tongues, they shall cease; if knowledge, it will be abolished.

And now faith, hope, charity, these three remain; but the greatest of these is charity.

Let all your things be done in charity.

And if we are troubled, it is for your consolation and salvation, being worked out in the endurance of the same sufferings which we also suffer; if we are comforted, it is for your consolation and salvation.

even as you have recognized us in part, that we are your rejoicing, even as you also are ours in the day of the Lord Jesus.

For, brothers, you were called to liberty. Only do not use the liberty for an opening to the flesh, but by love serve one another.

But the fruit of the Spirit is: love, joy, peace, long-suffering, kindness, goodness, faith,

Let us not become glory-seeking, provoking one another, envying one another.

Brothers, if a man is overtaken in a fault, you the spiritual ones restore such a one in the spirit of meekness, considering yourself, lest you also be tempted. Bear one another's burdens, and so you will fulfill the Law of Christ.

So then as we have time, let us work good toward all, especially toward those of the household of faith.

Let brotherly love continue. Do not be forgetful of hospitality, for by this some have entertained angels without knowing it. Remember those who are in bonds, as bound with them, those who suffer adversity, as being yourselves also in the body.

If you fulfill the royal Law according to the Scripture, "You shall love your neighbor as yourself," you do well.

Purifying your souls in the obedience of the truth through the Spirit to unfeigned love of the brothers, love one another fervently out of a pure heart,

Honor all. Love the brotherhood. Fear God. Honor the king.

And finally, all be of one mind, having compassion on one another, loving the brothers, tenderhearted, friendly. Never give back evil for evil, or reviling for reviling, but on the contrary, giving blessing, knowing that you are called to this so that you might inherit blessing.

And above all things have fervent love to yourselves, for love will cover a multitude of sins.

He who says he is in the light and hates his brother is in darkness until now. He who loves his brother abides in the light, and there is no offense in him. But he who hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and does not know where he is going, because darkness has blinded his eyes.

In this the children of God are revealed, and the children of the Devil: everyone not practicing righteousness is not of God, also he who does not love his brother. Do not marvel, my brothers, if the world hates you.

By this we have known the love of God, because He laid down His life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for the brothers. But whoever has this world's goods and sees his brother having need, and shuts up his bowels from him, how does the love of God dwell in him? My children, let us not love in word or in tongue, but in deed and in truth.

And this is His commandment, that we should believe on the name of His Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as He gave us commandment.

Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God, and everyone who loves has been born of God, and knows God.

Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No one has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us, and His love is perfected in us.

If anyone says, I love God, and hates his brother, he is a liar. For if he does not love his brother whom he has seen, how can he love God whom he has not seen? And we have this commandment from Him, that he who loves God should love his brother also.

Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God. And everyone who loves Him who begets also loves him who has been born of Him. By this we know that we love the children of God, whenever we love God and keep His commandments.

And now I beseech you, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment to you, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.
