'Arm' in the Bible
They slice off what is on the right hand but still are hungry,And they eat what is on the left hand but they are not satisfied;Each of them eats the flesh of his own arm.
It will be even like the reaper gathering the standing grain,As his arm harvests the ears,Or it will be like one gleaning ears of grainIn the valley of Rephaim.
And the Lord will cause His voice of authority to be heard,And the descending of His arm to be seen in fierce anger,And in the flame of a consuming fireIn cloudburst, downpour and hailstones.
Behold, the Lord God will come with might,With His arm ruling for Him.Behold, His reward is with HimAnd His recompense before Him.
Like a shepherd He will tend His flock,In His arm He will gather the lambsAnd carry them in His bosom;He will gently lead the nursing ewes.
The man shapes iron into a cutting tool and does his work over the coals, fashioning it with hammers and working it with his strong arm. He also gets hungry and his strength fails; he drinks no water and becomes weary.
“Assemble, all of you, and listen!Who among them has declared these things?The Lord loves him; he will carry out His good pleasure on Babylon,And His arm will be against the Chaldeans.
“My righteousness is near, My salvation has gone forth,And My arms will judge the peoples;The coastlands will wait for Me,And for My arm they will wait expectantly.
Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the Lord;Awake as in the days of old, the generations of long ago.Was it not You who cut Rahab in pieces,Who pierced the dragon?
The Lord has bared His holy armIn the sight of all the nations,That all the ends of the earth may seeThe salvation of our God.
Who has believed our message?And to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed?
And He saw that there was no man,And was astonished that there was no one to intercede;Then His own arm brought salvation to Him,And His righteousness upheld Him.
The Lord has sworn by His right hand and by His strong arm,“I will never again give your grain as food for your enemies;Nor will foreigners drink your new wine for which you have labored.”
“I looked, and there was no one to help,And I was astonished and there was no one to uphold;So My own arm brought salvation to Me,And My wrath upheld Me.
Who caused His glorious arm to go at the right hand of Moses,Who divided the waters before them to make for Himself an everlasting name,
