'Blasphemies' in the Bible

“Even when they made for themselvesA calf of molten metalAnd said, ‘This is your GodWho brought you up from Egypt,’And committed great blasphemies,

“But they became disobedient and rebelled against You,And cast Your law behind their backsAnd killed Your prophets who had admonished themSo that they might return to You,And they committed great blasphemies.

“Truly I say to you, all sins shall be forgiven the sons of men, and whatever blasphemies they utter;

The scribes and the Pharisees began to reason, saying, “Who is this man who speaks blasphemies? Who can forgive sins, but God alone?”

There was given to him a mouth speaking arrogant words and blasphemies, and authority to act for forty-two months was given to him.

And he opened his mouth in blasphemies against God, to blaspheme His name and His tabernacle, that is, those who dwell in heaven.
