'Day by day' in the Bible
And it shall come to pass on the sixth day, that they shall settle what they shall bring in, - and it shall be twice as much as they gather day by day.
This, moreover, is what thou shalt offer upon the altar, two lambs of a year old day by day, continually:
And, when it came to pass, on the morrow, that a superhuman spirit of sadness came suddenly upon Saul, and he was moved to raving in the midst of the house, - and, David, began playing with his hand, as he had done day by day, that a spear being in Saul's hand,
