'Deeds' in the Bible

“Wash yourselves. Cleanse yourselves.Remove your evil deeds from My sight.Stop doing evil.

Tell the righteous that it will go well for them,for they will eat the fruit of their labor.

and on that day you will say:“Give thanks to Yahweh; proclaim His name!Celebrate His works among the peoples.Declare that His name is exalted.

So He will repay according to their deeds:fury to His enemies,retribution to His foes,and He will repay the coastlands.

When You did awesome worksthat we did not expect,You came down,and the mountains quaked at Your presence.

for your iniquities and the iniquitiesof your fathers together,”says the Lord.“Because they burned incense on the mountainsand reproached Me on the hills,I will reward them fullyfor their former deeds.”
