'Desert' in the Bible

O God, when you went out before your people, when you marched through [the] desert, Selah

Let [the] desert dwellers bow down before him, and his enemies lick the dust.

You crushed the heads of Leviathan; you gave him [as] food to [the] desert dwelling creatures.

But they sinned still further against him by rebelling [against the] Most High in the desert.

So he rebuked {the Red Sea}, and it dried up, and he led them through the deep as [through] a desert.

And they {craved intensely} in the wilderness, and tested God in [the] desert.

They wandered in the wilderness, in a desert. They could find no way to a city to inhabit.
