'Fathers' in the Bible

For inquire, I pray thee, of the former age, and prepare thyself to the search of their fathers:

Which wise men have told from their fathers, and have not hid it:

He lieth down rich, but he shall not be gathered to his fathers ; He openeth his eyes, and he is not.

But now they that are younger than I have me in derision, whose fathers I would have disdained to have set with the dogs of my flock.

Does the rain have a father? Or who fathers the drops of dew?
