'Forever' in the Bible

but to the Son:Your throne, God,is forever and ever,and the scepter of Your kingdomis a scepter of justice.

They will come to an end, but you will remain forever. They will all wear out like clothes.

how will we escape [the penalty] if we ignore such a great salvation [the gospel, the new covenant]? For it was spoken at first by the Lord, and it was confirmed to us and proved authentic by those who personally heard [Him speak],

also said in another passage, You are a priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

Jesus has entered there on our behalf as a forerunner, because He has become a high priest forever in the order of Melchizedek.

without father, mother, or genealogy,having neither beginning of days nor end of life,but resembling the Son of God—remains a priest forever.

For it has been testified:You are a priest foreverin the order of Melchizedek.

but He became a priest with an oath made by the One who said to Him:The Lord has sworn,and He will not change His mind,You are a priest forever.

But because He remains forever, He holds His priesthood permanently.

Therefore He is able also to save forever those who draw near to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them.

For the law appoints as high priests men who are weak, but the promise of the oath, which came after the law, appoints a Son, who has been perfected forever.

But this man, after offering one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God.

For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are sanctified.

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever.

equip you with all that is good to do His will, working in us what is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ. Glory belongs to Him forever and ever. Amen.
