For the Son of Man is going to come with his angels in the glory of his Father, and then he will repay each person according to what he has done.

Then I looked, and I heard around the throne and the living creatures and the elders the voice of many angels, numbering myriads of myriads and thousands of thousands, saying with a loud voice, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slain, to receive power and wealth and wisdom and might and honor and glory and blessing!" So these came to Philip, who was from Bethsaida in Galilee, and asked him, "Sir, we wish to see Jesus."

And Jesus answered them, "The hour has come for the Son of Man to be glorified.

May his name endure forever, his fame continue as long as the sun! May people be blessed in him, all nations call him blessed!

He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation.

And he is the head of the body, the church. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in everything he might be preeminent.

The glory that you have given me I have given to them, that they may be one even as we are one,

For it was indeed fitting that we should have such a high priest, holy, innocent, unstained, separated from sinners, and exalted above the heavens. He has no need, like those high priests, to offer sacrifices daily, first for his own sins and then for those of the people, since he did this once for all when he offered up himself. For the law appoints men in their weakness as high priests, but the word of the oath, which came later than the law, appoints a Son who has been made perfect forever.

Concerning this salvation, the prophets who prophesied about the grace that was to be yours searched and inquired carefully, inquiring what person or time the Spirit of Christ in them was indicating when he predicted the sufferings of Christ and the subsequent glories.

And, "You, Lord, laid the foundation of the earth in the beginning, and the heavens are the work of your hands; they will perish, but you remain; they will all wear out like a garment, like a robe you will roll them up, like a garment they will be changed. But you are the same, and your years will have no end."

Behold, the Lord GOD comes with might, and his arm rules for him; behold, his reward is with him, and his recompense before him. He will tend his flock like a shepherd; he will gather the lambs in his arms; he will carry them in his bosom, and gently lead those that are with young.

And he put all things under his feet and gave him as head over all things to the church,
