'Forget' in the Bible
Joseph named the firstborn Manasseh, “For,” he said, “God has made me forget all my trouble and all my father’s household.”
“Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons.
So watch yourselves, that you do not forget the covenant of the Lord your God which He made with you, and make for yourselves a graven image in the form of anything against which the Lord your God has commanded you.
For the Lord your God is a compassionate God; He will not fail you nor destroy you nor forget the covenant with your fathers which He swore to them.
then watch yourself, that you do not forget the Lord who brought you from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
“Beware that you do not forget the Lord your God by not keeping His commandments and His ordinances and His statutes which I am commanding you today;
then your heart will become proud and you will forget the Lord your God who brought you out from the land of Egypt, out of the house of slavery.
It shall come about if you ever forget the Lord your God and go after other gods and serve them and worship them, I testify against you today that you will surely perish.
Remember, do not forget how you provoked the Lord your God to wrath in the wilderness; from the day that you left the land of Egypt until you arrived at this place, you have been rebellious against the Lord.
Therefore it shall come about when the Lord your God has given you rest from all your surrounding enemies, in the land which the Lord your God gives you as an inheritance to possess, you shall blot out the memory of Amalek from under heaven; you must not forget.
She made a vow and said, “O Lord of hosts, if You will indeed look on the affliction of Your maidservant and remember me, and not forget Your maidservant, but will give Your maidservant a son, then I will give him to the Lord all the days of his life, and a razor shall never come on his head.”
The covenant that I have made with you, you shall not forget, nor shall you fear other gods.
“So are the paths of all who forget God;And the hope of the godless will perish,
“Though I say, ‘I will forget my complaint,I will leave off my sad countenance and be cheerful,’
“For you would forget your trouble,As waters that have passed by, you would remember it.

Why do You hide Your faceAnd forget our affliction and our oppression?
Listen, O daughter, give attention and incline your ear:Forget your people and your father’s house;

Do not slay them, or my people will forget;Scatter them by Your power, and bring them down,O Lord, our shield.
Do not deliver the soul of Your turtledove to the wild beast;Do not forget the life of Your afflicted forever.
Do not forget the voice of Your adversaries,The uproar of those who rise against You which ascends continually.
That they should put their confidence in GodAnd not forget the works of God,But keep His commandments,

who intend to make My people forget My name by their dreams which they relate to one another, just as their fathers forgot My name because of Baal?
Therefore behold, I will surely forget you and cast you away from My presence, along with the city which I gave you and your fathers.
Why do You forget us forever?Why do You forsake us so long?
They will forget their disgrace and all their treachery which they perpetrated against Me, when they live securely on their own land with no one to make them afraid.
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.Because you have rejected knowledge,I also will reject you from being My priest.Since you have forgotten the law of your God,I also will forget your children.
The Lord has sworn by the pride of Jacob,“Indeed, I will never forget any of their deeds.
For God is not unjust so as to forget your work and the love which you have shown toward His name, in having ministered and in still ministering to the saints.
