'Future' in the Bible
It was not to angels that God subjected the [inhabited] world of the future [when Christ reigns], about which we are speaking.
Moses was faithful as a servant in all God’s household, as a testimony to what would be said in the future.
For if Joshua had given them the true rest, we should not afterwards hear God speaking of another still future day.
The teaching of baptisms, and of the putting on of hands, and of the future life of the dead, and of the judging on the last day.
