'Gather' in the Bible

And He will lift up a standard for the nationsAnd assemble the banished ones of Israel,And will gather the dispersed of JudahFrom the four corners of the earth.

And it will be that like a hunted gazelle,Or like sheep with none to gather them,They will each turn to his own people,And each one flee to his own land.

The tree snake will make its nest and lay eggs there,And it will hatch and gather them under its protection.Yes, the hawks will be gathered there,Every one with its kind.

Like a shepherd He will tend His flock,In His arm He will gather the lambsAnd carry them in His bosom;He will gently lead the nursing ewes.

“Do not fear, for I am with you;I will bring your offspring from the east,And gather you from the west.

“Gather yourselves and come;Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations;They have no knowledge,Who carry about their wooden idolAnd pray to a god who cannot save.

“For a brief moment I forsook you,But with great compassion I will gather you.

The Lord God, who gathers the dispersed of Israel, declares,“Yet others I will gather to them, to those already gathered.”

“Lift up your eyes round about and see;They all gather together, they come to you.Your sons will come from afar,And your daughters will be carried in the arms.

But those who garner it will eat it and praise the Lord;And those who gather it will drink it in the courts of My sanctuary.

“For I know their works and their thoughts; the time is coming to gather all nations and tongues. And they shall come and see My glory.
