'Glory' in the Bible

The Word became fleshand took up residence among us.We observed His glory,the glory as the One and Only Son from the Father,full of grace and truth.

Jesus performed this first sign in Cana of Galilee. He displayed His glory, and His disciples believed in Him.

“I do not accept glory from men,

How can you believe? While accepting glory from one another, you don’t seek the glory that comes from the only God.

The one who speaks for himself seeks his own glory. But He who seeks the glory of the One who sent Him is true, and there is no unrighteousness in Him.

I do not seek My glory; the One who seeks it also judges.

“If I glorify Myself,” Jesus answered, “My glory is nothing. My Father—you say about Him, ‘He is our God’—He is the One who glorifies Me.

So a second time they summoned the man who had been blind and told him, “Give glory to God. We know that this man is a sinner!”

When Jesus heard it, He said, “This sickness will not end in death but is for the glory of God, so that the Son of God may be glorified through it.”

Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believed you would see the glory of God?”

Isaiah said these things because he saw His glory and spoke about Him.

Now, Father, glorify Me in Your presencewith that glory I had with Youbefore the world existed.

I have given them the glory You have given Me.May they be one as We are one.

Father,I desire those You have given Meto be with Me where I am.Then they will see My glory,which You have given Mebecause You loved Me before the world’s foundation.
