'Insults' in the Bible

For it is not an enemy who insults me I could have handled that nor is it someone who hates me and who now arises against me I could have hidden myself from him

Insults broke my heart. I despaired and looked for sympathy; but there was none, for comforters, but I found none.

Remember, Lord, the reproach of your servant! I carry inside me all the insults of many people,

Then I can answer the one who insults me, for I place my trust in your word.
