'Knowledge' in the Bible

Therefore My people go into exile for their lack of knowledge;And their honorable men are famished,And their multitude is parched with thirst.

The Spirit of the Lord will rest on Him,The spirit of wisdom and understanding,The spirit of counsel and strength,The spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.

They will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,For the earth will be full of the knowledge of the LordAs the waters cover the sea.

“To whom would He teach knowledge,And to whom would He interpret the message?Those just weaned from milk?Those just taken from the breast?

And He will be the stability of your times,A wealth of salvation, wisdom and knowledge;The fear of the Lord is his treasure.

With whom did He consult and who gave Him understanding?And who taught Him in the path of justice and taught Him knowledgeAnd informed Him of the way of understanding?

No one recalls, nor is there knowledge or understanding to say, “I have burned half of it in the fire and also have baked bread over its coals. I roast meat and eat it. Then I make the rest of it into an abomination, I fall down before a block of wood!”

Causing the omens of boasters to fail,Making fools out of diviners,Causing wise men to draw backAnd turning their knowledge into foolishness,

“Gather yourselves and come;Draw near together, you fugitives of the nations;They have no knowledge,Who carry about their wooden idolAnd pray to a god who cannot save.

“You felt secure in your wickedness and said,‘No one sees me,’Your wisdom and your knowledge, they have deluded you;For you have said in your heart,‘I am, and there is no one besides me.’

As a result of the anguish of His soul,He will see it and be satisfied;By His knowledge the Righteous One,My Servant, will justify the many,As He will bear their iniquities.
