'Merriment' in the Bible

and over the land of my people overgrown with thorns and briers yes, over all the houses of merriment and over this city of revelry.

Out of those places you will hear songs of thanksgiving and the sounds of laughter and merriment. I will increase their number and they will not dwindle away. I will bring them honor and they will no longer be despised.

Look at their sitting and their rising [their actions and secret counsels];I am their mocking song [the subject of their ridicule].
