'Myself' in the Bible
Jehovah, in the morning shalt thou hear my voice; in the morning will I address myself to thee, and will look up.
And I was upright with him, and kept myself from mine iniquity.
I behaved myself as though he had been a friend, a brother to me; I bowed down in sadness, as one that mourneth for a mother.
For it is not an enemy that hath reproached me then could I have borne it; neither is it he that hateth me that hath magnified himself against me then would I have hidden myself from him;
I will behave myself wisely in a perfect way. When wilt thou come unto me? I will walk within my house in the integrity of my heart.
For my love they are mine adversaries; but I give myself unto prayer.
I delight myself in thy statutes; I will not forget thy word.
And I will delight myself in thy commandments, which I have loved;
I remembered thy judgments of old, O Jehovah, and have comforted myself.
{A Song of degrees. Of David.} Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty; neither do I exercise myself in great matters, and in things too wonderful for me.
