'Namely' in the Bible

Now these are the generations of the sons of Noah, namely , of Shem, Ham, and Japheth: and unto them were sons born after the flood.

Of the children of Joseph, namely , of the children of Ephraim, their generations, by their families, by their fathers houses, according to the number of the names, from twenty years old and upward, all that were able to go forth to war;

Of the tribe of Joseph, namely , of the tribe of Manasseh, Gaddi the son of Susi.

namely , Bezer in the wilderness, in the plain country, for the Reubenites; and Ramoth in Gilead, for the Gadites; and Golan in Bashan, for the Manassites.

I think therefore that this is good by reason of the distress that is upon us, namely, that it is good for a man to be as he is.
