'Oil' in the Bible

You prepare a table before mein the presence of my enemies;You anoint my head with oil;my cup overflows.

You love righteousness and hate wickedness;therefore God, your God, has anointed you with the oil of joymore than your companions.

His buttery words are smooth,but war is in his heart.His words are softer than oil,but they are drawn swords.

I have found David My servant;I have anointed him with My sacred oil.

Let the righteous one strike me—it is an act of faithful love;let him rebuke me—it is oil for my head;let me not refuse it.Even now my prayer is againstthe evil acts of the wicked.
