'Opinion' in the Bible
Now I exhort you, brethren, by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, that ye all say the same thing, and that there be not among you divisions; but that ye be perfectly united in the same mind and in the same opinion.
Do you not know that we [believers] will judge angels? How much more then [as to] matters of this life?
But this I say as my opinion, and not as an order of the Lord.
About virgins: I have no command from the Lord, but I do give an opinion as one who by the Lord’s mercy is trustworthy.
In my opinion then, because of the present trouble, it is good for a man to keep as he is.
But if, in any man's opinion, he is not doing what is right for his virgin, if she is past her best years, and there is need for it, let him do what seems right to him; it is no sin; let them be married.
But she is happier if she remains as she is, in my opinion. And I think that I also have the Spirit of God.
For there must of necessity be differences of opinion among you, in order that it may be plainly seen who are the men of sterling worth among you.
