'Perhaps' in the Bible
While the people were filled with anticipation and they all wondered whether perhaps John could be the Christ,
Then the owner of the vineyard said, 'What should I do? I will send my one dear son; perhaps they will respect him.'
So the Jewish leaders began to say, "Perhaps he is going to kill himself, because he says, 'Where I am going you cannot come.'"
Therefore repent of this wickedness of yours, and pray to the Lord that he may perhaps forgive you for the intent of your heart.
