The proposal pleased Pharaoh and all his servants.

His mother's relatives spoke on his behalf to all the leaders of Shechem and reported his proposal. The leaders were drawn to Abimelech; they said, "He is our close relative."

When David heard that Nabal was dead, he said, “Blessed be the Lord, who has pleaded the cause of my reproach from the hand of Nabal and has kept back His servant from evil. The proposal pleased the king and the congregation,

Then Ezra rose and made the leading priests, the Levites and all Israel, take oath that they would do according to this proposal; so they took the oath.

Four times they sent me the same proposal, and I gave them the same reply.

The king and his counselors approved the proposal, and he followed Memucan’s advice.

So the warden agreed to their proposal and tested them for ten days.
