'Receive' in the Bible

For what does a person receive for all his toil and in the longing of his heart with which he toils under the sun?

A poor yet wise lad is better than an old and foolish king who no longer knows how to receive instruction.

Just as he came naked from his mother's womb, he will leave as naked as he came; he will receive no profit from his efforts he cannot carry away even a handful.
