'Seventy two' in the Bible

seventy-two thousand cattle,

and the cattle were thirty-six thousand; and the tribute to Yahweh [was] seventy-two.

the descendants of Parosh, two thousand one hundred and seventy-two;

the descendants of Shephatiah, three hundred and seventy-two;

The gatekeepers: Akkub, Talmon, and their brothers, the keepers of the gates, one hundred and seventy-two.

And after these [things], the Lord also appointed seventy-two others and sent them out two by two before {him} into every town and place where he was about to go.

And the seventy-two returned with joy, saying, "Lord, even the demons are subject to us in your name!"
