'Sheep' in the Bible

On that daya man will raise a young cow and two sheep,

You will not go to all the hillsthat were once tilled with a hoe,for fear of the thorns and briers.Those hills will be places for oxen to grazeand for sheep to trample.

Like wandering gazellesand like sheep without a shepherd,each one will turn to his own people,each one will flee to his own land.

But look: joy and gladness,butchering of cattle, slaughtering of sheep,eating of meat, and drinking of wine—“Let us eat and drink, for tomorrow we die!”

You have not brought Me your sheep for burnt offeringsor honored Me with your sacrifices.I have not burdened you with offeringsor wearied you with incense.

We all went astray like sheep;we all have turned to our own way;and the Lord has punished Himfor the iniquity of us all.

He was oppressed and afflicted,yet He did not open His mouth.Like a lamb led to the slaughterand like a sheep silent before her shearers,He did not open His mouth.
