'Skies' in the Bible
"There is no [one] like God, O, Jeshurun, who rides [through] the heavens to your help, and with his majesty [through the] skies.
with him can you spread out [the] skies, hard as a molten mirror?
So then, they do not look at the light [when it is] bright in the skies, when [the] wind has passed and has cleansed them.
[The] clouds poured out water. [The] skies {thundered}. Your arrows also {flew about}.
Nevertheless, he commanded [the] skies above and opened [the] doors of heaven,

We tried to heal Babylon, and she was not healed. Forsake her and let us go each one to his country, for her judgment has reached to the heavens, and it has been lifted up to [the] skies.
